Keynote Systems' Voice Perspective Service Named One of the Top 25 Innovations of 2007 by VoIP News
-- Keynote Recognized Alongside Microsoft's Office Communications Server, Google Talk and Other Leading Technologies -- Keynote Voice Perspective 2.0 Provides Customers with Real-Time Visibility Into True Experience of Callers
SAN MATEO, Calif., Dec 20, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), the global leader in on-demand mobile and Internet test & measurement solutions for continuously improving the online experience, today announced the selection of Keynote's Voice Perspective(R) 2.0 service as one of the Top 25 Innovations of 2007 by VoIP News.

According to VoIP News, "a typical VoIP-quality testing service might measure the performance of an IP call in terms of jitter, latency and packet loss, then conclude that voice quality is perfect. But if the last-mile infrastructure between the customer's premises and the IP backbone is less than perfect, the network may be doing a perfect job of delivering hideously distorted sounds encapsulated in VoIP packets...Keynote Systems Inc.'s (service) measures the quality of actual calls between apartments in key cities in order to provide real-world data about which VoIP sounds best."

Voice Perspective 2.0, an on-demand VoIP testing and monitoring service, helps VoIP-enabled contact centers monitor and assure call quality in a hybrid network environment where calls typically traverse both traditional PSTN and packet-switched VoIP networks.

"It is great to see VoIP News recognizing our Voice Perspective 2.0 as an innovative offering, especially as hybrid networks become more prevalent in the industry," said Rajeev Kutty, Keynote VoIP product manager. "Our offering provides unrivaled visibility into the true experience of callers. Operations teams at service providers as well as contact centers are able to monitor the true quality of voice service, pure VoIP, Hybrid or PSTN from a wide range of geographic locations."

Jeff Geiser, global director of VoIP and streaming media at Keynote, reiterates the comprehensive nature of Keynote's VoIP service, saying, "Our solution is directly aimed at solving the challenges faced by VoIP service providers and enterprises that have implemented VoIP call centers; both need accurate insight into call quality to assure their customers have a positive experience. With on-demand, real-time visibility, Voice Perspective offers the valuable data that expedites issue resolution and overcomes the barriers of geographic limitations."
